The Scope: Lovers of quality deep-tech should rejoice to the sounds of this quality double-serve of sumptuous and dynamic tracks.

It gives me such a good feeling knowing the death of the 'electro' sound has occurred in the electronic underground. This over-exposed movement has gone so commercial that it has the appeal of someone shouting in your face - ultimately you’re going to just switch off and walk away. Techno, which I might add was always still there, sounds even better as a result. The sometimes beautiful, often mysterious and ever engaging sounds produced by Ante Perry and the constellation of other minds that orbit around him, have all been pulled into the universe of Flashing Disco. This is presented over two discs of superb four-beat that range from the minimal floatiness of Ilario Alicante's dreamy Vacaciones En Chile, to the sexy jack of Human You by Ante Perry Vs Tube & Berger - that build-up in the middle brought on an E I took three years ago. Props must also go to Heiko Laux's Mirabella too; that joint is seriously reminiscent of some early ‘90s Tresor shit- very hypnotic. The second disc of all Perry's stuff is nothing short of brilliant.

The Wrap: The sort of thing that fuels revolutions on dancefloors.
