We are glad to report that Oz hip hop’s favourite red head is returning to Adelaide playing an all-ages show at The Gov on Sat May 8 following his brilliant set at Jive last year.
Apparently Massive Attack are too cool for the Adelaide Entertainment Centre (and let's face it, they're too cool for a lot of places), so they're setting another trend by becoming the first international act to play Adelaide's newest venue.
Local clubbing institution Cargo is set to close its doors after 22 years. The Hindley St club that became legendary for its Four Rs club nights and street parties in the ‘90s and noughties will go out with a bang with Cargo’s Last Dance on Sat Feb 27.
The set times for the Adelaide leg of the Future Music Festival has been announced with legendary rave punks The Prodigy closing the Main Stage at 8.45pm after commercial pin-up boy David Guetta. Other set times of note include Empire Of The Sun playing Stage 2 (Pink Flamingo) at 7.30pm and Spank Rock playing the same stage at 6pm. If you dig techno then Stage 3 (The Likes Of You) is the place to be as this is the last four acts on Stage 3: John Digweed, Dubfire, Sven Vath and Booka Shade. Wow!
