ADROIT EFFUSIVE
Adroit, adj. Clever or skilful in using the hands or mind. And the mind is a terrible thing to waste.
Effusive, adj. Look it up yourself.
Adroit Effusive are an Adelaide based hip hop crew consisting of eight members: Beats, Conseps, Patti, Bornski, Motion, Blockade, Dev and AD-FU. They’re well-known for their diversity which might have something to do with the fact there are five producers in the crew (Conseps, Beats, Bornski, Blockade and Motion) as well as seven MCs and one crazy DJ. Adroit’s music ranges from party up-tempo tracks, sometimes sliding into the smut genre, as well as not being afraid to put their lives on track with more serious truthful story telling raps. You haven’t witnessed a proper hip hop show until you see the hyped up, rowdy, live performances and drunken antics from the Adroit crew; enter: Beats dressing up on stage and being way to drunk to perform; Motion taking over the stage with one of his infamous freestyles or special guest appearances from MCs Australia wide; Adroit always keep the crowd guessing as to what will be expected. Adroit have performed alongside some of Australia's finest acts such as the Funkoars, XBM, After Hours, Hospice crew, Clandestien, BattleHoggs, Delta, Crack House Crew and Mnemonic Ascent as well as a few International acts. Adroit are currently working on their full-length album which is set to drop around Christmas time, plus keep an ear out for some guest spots here and there and a film clip or two are in the works... like they say in the magazines: watch this space.

Do you have an album coming out? Yep. We normally drop around Christmas time… great stocking fillers. Expect diversity, suspense, smut and filth, science, realness, knowledge and wisdom, death, life, happiness, sadness, bad grammar, and sexiness…
Which musicians would Adroit like to collaborate with? Quincy Jones, Sage Francis, Ice Cube, Prowla, Shaquille O’Neal, RedMan, Krs-One, Trials, Jehst, Marly Marl, The Afros, DJ Babu and Devious Dev…
